I rode with the club this morning. 3+ hours with no more knee pain. I was stoked. My plan was to sit in and just take it easy, but there was some confusion during a rotation on a normally fast section so I took off and lead for a good ways. After that I felt comfortable and confident and just pushed all day. I'm so ready to get back in to training, but I'm apprehensive about the fitness I've lost. It's still hard for me to gauge how strong I actually I am. I suspect right now it's not very.
Regardless, no-pain is cause for celebration. I just need to remember to maintain the regimen of care that delivered me from this injury to prevent any in the future.
