Today I helped with some as-is drawings for a house to be remodeled on the east side of town. From the outside we saw a dilapidated old house, maybe the sometimes home of a few squatters. The inside, however, told a far creepier tale.

The wall was carefully papered with tacked floor tile samples.
All the light switches (which still worked despite the electric bill going unpaid over a year -- creeeepy), had cardboard crucifix pulls on them. And there were all kinds of religious posters on the wall, punctuated by water stained childrens' artwork, recipes, and food can labels. It was all very Blair Witch meets Homer and Langley.
